Mazda2 Conquers the 'Wall of Death'

The 'Wall of Death' has been one of the most popular platforms for daredevils across the world to showcase their skill. We here at Putnam Mazda bet you know what we're talking about; it's a circular wall, 31-feet in diameter where the track is angled at nearly 90-degrees. Typically, in its heyday in the 1920s, we'd see adventurous motorcyclists scale it and defy convention as they circled round and round.  It already sounds crazy, but do you know what's even crazier? The Mazda2 accomplished the feat too.

With the help of the 85-year-old 'Wall of Death…

Another Top Safety Pick for Mazda

Until 1959 customers had little information on vehicle safety.  So, the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety was founded to provide consumers with the most accurate safety information on the market.  The goal of the organization is to test vehicles for their safety and give them appropriate ratings, with the goal of reducing deaths, injuries, and property damage that could ensue otherwise. And, we're pleased to announce that Mazda has been impressing the IIHS recently.

So, what is Mazda doing differently than other auto manufacturers?  They have developed a new philosophy for engineering cars named SKYACTIV. The result? Thus far…

Mazda Brings Special Edition MX-5 Miata to Chicago

Call us nostalgic, but Putnam Mazda believes that there's something nice about respecting tradition within the automotive industry. Apparently, so does Mazda. As we hinted at earlier, for the newest Mazda roadster offering, this custom will not change.

Available in a sporty red or pearly white, the 2012 Mazda MX-5 Miata Special Edition will take the stage at the upcoming 2012 Chicago Auto Show. Like any…
